Referrals
You will require a GP referral in order to receive a Medicare rebate for your appointment. This referral will expire 12 months from you first appointment. Please ensure you see your GP for a new referral each year.
Booking an Appointment
We require your referral to be approved by the doctor before an appointment can be made. Once your referral is received by us you will receive an sms notification. You will receive another sms notifcaiton once your referral has been reviewed and accepted by the doctor at which time an appointment can be booked.
Practice Billing Policy
All of our doctors are Independent Health Practitioners. This means that each doctor sets their own fees and will charge as they see fit depending on the length and complexity of consultations.
We are a private billing practice which means all appointments will be billed for and will incure an out of pocket cost. You will be required to pay for your appointment in full, minus any deposit paid, on the day of your appointment. Our staff can then submit your claim to Medicare on your behalf, provided a valid referral has been supplied from your GP.
